Hi Dana,

I知 writing to make you aware of a new and recently endowed scholarship which I am hoping you値l spread the word about by adding a link to it. The scholarship, Online Colleges.org Support A Student Scholarship

for Single Parents,- the first of its kind - was created to financially assist single parents enrolled in a college degree program with an online learning component.

Here is a link to the scholarship http://www.onlinecolleges.org/scholarship

I thought this page http://www.glasscityathletics.com/GCScholarship.htm

would be a nice place to post the scholarship and could replace this broken link on your page http://apps.absolutelyscholarships.com/exec/scholarship.

To ensure that as many students as possible are given the best opportunity to apply, I知 reaching out to you now, in the hopes that you値l add a link to the scholarship to your website in the next few days so that students are aware of the opportunity and can submit their applications right as the October 1st official open date begins.

The winner, who will be announced on December 1st, 2011, will be awarded $10,000 towards non-tuition related living expenses for the January 20 2012 academic year including:

Rent

Childcare

Books and School Supplies

Utilities - Gas and Electric

Utilities - Internet

Groceries

Any single parent enrolled in a degree program with a significant online component is eligible to apply. The applicant must also be receiving some other type of financial aid.

The scholarship, with further information, can be found at: http://www.onlinecolleges.org/scholarship

If you have any questions, please let me know. I知 happy to assist in

any way I can.

Best Regards,

Glass City Volleyball College Scholarship

The Glass City Volleyball Scholarship program has been established by Glass City Volleyball and Glass City, LLC,  to assist in advancing the educational opportunities of deserving Senior  student athletes participating in the Glass City Volleyball Club.   Glass City Volleyball's goal is to develop young ladies athletically, physically, socially, and educationally.

Funds are raised primarily through the Scholarship Golf Outing, with additional contributions from the Celebrity Waitress Event and purchases made via the Glass City Affiliates program.

Glass City Volleyball Student Athlete Scholarship Guidelines

In 2009, Glass City Volleyball Club gave three scholarships totaling $2850.

Thanks to all of you who help make the scholarship available to the club student athletes.

College Scholarships -

Millions of dollars go unclaimed at the end of the school year from scholarships that are never applied for because students and their parents do not realize they exist. Based on her first-hand experience, the Director of Glass City is committed to assisting Glass City players and their parents with the knowledge of accessing these scholarships. The Director will have college information meeting with the parents of players of all Glass City teams from age 15 and older to help them with this process. The web site will offer links to a multitude of scholarships and their deadlines that need to be strictly adhered to.

A scholarship to a Division I or II school may not always be a full ride, and the families' ability to supplement an offer may make the difference in a player having the financial ability to attend a particular institution. Scholarships for Division III programs are never for athletics. We are excited to be able to offer this service to our players and their families at no additional cost.
